Baking Soda

So I have this friend Janeth. She has the most beautiful pore less skin you will ever see. Like literally, not a pore in sight. So I asked her what she does or uses. And this girl swears by baking Soda.

She said once a week, she mixes baking Soda with her face cleanser to create a paste. And she rubs this paste on her face in circular motions. She said this is what cleans her pore out. So I started doing it and I’ve noticed a huge difference.

Next she mixed it in her toothpaste once a week to clean her teeth and keep them bright white. I’ve started doing this and it really works. If you mix in some hydrogen peroxide, it works even better.

And then lastly she drinks a spoonful in water. This help keep her gut clean. You just have to be careful if you drink it too fast. Because then, you’ll want to be close to a bathroom if you know what I mean. I haven’t tried this yet, but I plan too.

So many different uses for Baking Soda. I had no idea.

  1. I am very wary of anecdotal health or beauty tips, but checked this out and – good and cheap!

“Baking soda is not only a good exfoliator but also helps by slightly shrinking the size of your pores, thereby preventing dirt and other particulate matter from clogging them. The anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of baking soda for skin further help reduce the reoccurrence of pimples and acne”.
